April 2012: Pat’s short story Pink Moon was awarded second place in the Saints & Sinners fiction contest, judged by Dorothy Allison. The story will be published in the Saints and Sinners Literary Festival Anthology.
March 2012: Pat’s short story Good Neighbor was selected for inclusion in the Jane’s Stories Press Foundation Anthology Bridges and Borders, scheduled for publication later this year.
April 2010: Pat’s short story Take Away was awarded Honorable Mention in the Seven Hills Review Flash Fiction contest judged by Robert Olen Butler
October 2009: Pat was invited to read her short story Moving On at the Southern Women’s Writer’s Conference.
March 2009: Pat’s short story, Good Neighbors, was selected as a semifinalist in the 2008 Short Stories Contest of Jane’s Stories Press Foundation.
March 2009: Pat was nominated for a United States Artists Grant.
March 2009: Pat has completed Dream Chaser, her first novel manuscript, and is actively seeking to place it with an agent. She is currently revising her second novel manuscript titled Wildflowers, and selecting short stories, both published and unpublished, for a short story collection—just in case.
